I have recently moved to Fort Myers and am uninsured. I am trying to find an affordable doctor's office/ clinic. Please let me know if you know of one. Thanks!

You can't afford to NOT have health insurance.

I agree that we have a serious problem in this country and everyone needs to be covered. Many people cannot afford health insurance premiums and still put food on the table.

Regarding a walk-in clinic, I went to go to Lee Convenient Care when I had an emergency. I can't remember what I was charged, however. I think it was $80, but I'm sure it depends on your personal problem.

By the way, the OP never said "free" so I do not understand the argument here. Anyway, a lot of insurance polices do not cover doctor visits or have very high deductibles.

Part of this earlier post doesn't make any sense, since I was responding to one that was deleted. Anyway, I wish you a lot of luck. Don't get too frustrated.

wow lol.
The poster thats been deleted responded to Mr.tudo's post from June 2007 and blasted him in a very long post and called him names for being insensitive to someone having lost their insurance.
Nancy responded to the now missing post without catching the date of the op
I also felt bad for the op but had nothing to offer, so didn't post.
Good catch RMD3819
