Hi. We are living in Euless, but are considering buying a home in Bedford. I thought that I had read somewhere that if you moved, your child could still attend the same middle school. Is that true? Can someone enlighten me?? Thanks.

HEB is zoned--middle schools have larger zones than elementary schools
If your child has started at one jr high they will probably let you go to the semester break but they might want you to move to the school in your zone after Christmas--
depends on different factors...
I would want to know from someone beside a teacher, counselor, or registrar what the rule is...
I am sure the district has a written policy--I have had kids transfer in from another district school during the semester even--some people have to have their children ride buses so there is no getting around that...
