Most of the things on the first list are items that I never acquire the first time, or have no application for the second time. I like the cereal bags for freezer, though, I hadn't thought of that.
By the way, my supermarket, on the produce scales, has little stickers to print and stick on bags of produce with a barcode on them for checkout. I put the sticker very carefully right by the open end of the bag, and save those bags for things to put in the freezer. I use a sharpie to identify the freezer item on the sticker.
Like jtur88, I don't use the stuff they were re using, but I really like the parent (?) site. I just spent an hour snooping around it, and came up with some really good ideas and projects. Thanks for posting the link.
loved the one about the tissue boxes used for dispensing plastic bags. I'm going to start doing that now. I hate plastic bags, yet seem to acquire them and use them to line the bathroom garbage pail.

A few years ago, I noticed one of my friends did that. Now I've started doing it - it does keep them in pretty neatly.
the cardboard egg boxes as firestarters is an interesting one. We use our fireplace all the time and I never thought of this. Next stop, dining room furniture.

I reuse the styrofoam egg cartons, once cleaned, for storing christmas ornaments(glass balls,etc).
I also used them to store eggs when we had our own chickens.now I give them to a friend who has chickens in exchange for fresh eggs...
the cardboard cartens can also be used to start seedlings for gardening.they are biodegradeable
and can be transplanted right into the garden come planting time.
