After almost 7 months I can definitely say we are on the 200 kWh/month camp. We just came from Summer and our highest consumption during the summer while using AC (wife is a teacher and spends a lot of time at home during summer) was 400 kWh. Without AC our last bill was at 215 kWh and in June/July it even went into 189 kWh).

We always have the TV on, lights, we use the dishwasher, washer and dryer, and again cook from scratch everyday, the dehumidifier a lot of the time and also landscape lights.

This goes to show that our fridge was using probably close to 100 kwh per month or more!

That's amazing, especially considering that I may spend $1,000 total per year on utilities
