Just call AT&T and ask them to upgrade you to one of the two following plans

AT&T Unlimited &More℠
Price after discount with autopay and paperless billing.*
$125/mo. for 2 lines
Unlimited talk, text & data
SD Streaming (480p DVD quality, max of 1.5Mbps)
Live & On-Demand TV: 30+ channels, live & on-demand
Mexico & Canada – Unlimited talk, text & data included

AT&T Mobile Share Plus
Price after discount with autopay and paperless billing.*
$100/mo. for 2 lines
Unlimited talk, text & 9GB data
SD Streaming (480p DVD quality, max of 1.5Mbps)
Mobile Hotspot (9GB)
Rollover Data®: roll over unused data to the next month
Mexico - Talk, text & data included

OP, you are probably on an older plan that you actually have to call and change to another plan, which is outlined above by Paco. If you want to stay with AT&T, you can definitely get a cheaper plan.

I have Verizon which is more expensive but I'm paying like $30 more than you for more GB and five lines.

There is a company that I've been using for about 5 years, Ting. They use the Sprint backbone. You can bring your own phone. My one phone line last month was $17 TOTAL.

Of course, that is with little or no data usage, for which I would pay about $10 per Gig. But I don't use it much since I'm not navigating or watching videos on my phone without being on a WIFI.

So if you don't use much data, that would be the way to go.

For a single line it's $75...plus probably $15 in taxes/fees.

What is the name of that plan? Is it something you're grandfathered in, or a military discount? I use Verizon because it's the only company that has towers in my area, and I've never had a plan that cheap, let alone unlimited. The only unlimited plan I can find on their website is $75 plus fees & taxes, which are usually ~$15.

I use Mint Mobile, it's probably as close as you could get to unlimited data without paying the premium to bump up to unlimited.

$25/mo for 10GB LTE data, Unlimited Talk/Text.

I only pay about $5 in taxes/fees on my Verizon prepaid account. For a single line unlimited it's $65 after getting the $5 autopay discount, then you have about $5 taxes and fees, so total bill for one line unlimited is about $70. I have no idea what the poster who says $45/mo is talking about with Verizon, as the contract plans are more expensive than the prepaid plans - the only benefit to the contract plan is getting a free phone.

4 lines with T-Mobile for $85/month. After tax and fee about $105. Unlimited data (slower speed after reaching 2 GB) and talk and text. No contract.

Best thing is it is workable almost everywhere in the world. Even in North Korea (JSA).
