The first pic is saw palmetto, Serona repens. The second is fuzzy, but looks like the vine may be air potato, Dioscorea bulbifera, an invasive vine.

I do not think the vine is Kudzu, Pueraria lobata. Kudzu has trifoliate leaves and even though the picture is fuzzy, the leaves appear to be simple. More likely it is Dioscorea bulbifera, air potato. The aerial tubers may not be visible in the photo because they are formed in the leaf axils and may be hidden by the leaves. The heart shaped leaves are very characterisis for this species and can be recognized from a distance. One other distinguishing feature between Kudzu and Air potato is the flowers. Kudzu has purple flowers much like a pea being that it is in the Pea Family. Dioscoea rarely flowers and is in the Yam family.
