I would like to plant a few of these in my garden this year. Anyone in Dallas that have successfully grown these? Any varieties to recommend? I think we are zone 8a and I'm wondering if it gets too hot. I have a part sunny mostly shady area that seems to stay moist. What should I amend the soil with before planting?

Thanks for any info :-)
