...That's pretty cool, that way you don't have to up root the hole plant. It says that they could cut one pot and put it into another pot but the set up in the picture looks like the internal pot is manufactured differently. I'm not saying it won't work, but I don't think it would work with the thinner plastic pots.
...It also looks like it works in the photo but wonder if more of the dirt would fall out if I tried it. I also don't know how you get to the potatoes in the middle? I wonder if you installed a net, like burlap, half way up the pot, if that would help.

That would be me too, the bottom pot would fill with dirt and I'd be left holding the bare roots in the top pot. Then I'd throw the plant away because I couldn't figure out how to get the dirt back in without making a huge mess.

I have one. He only reason I got i was because it was on clearance, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. And honestly, I shouldn't have bothered. The ones they sell are small. Maybe good for new/fingerling type potatoes, but nothing big. I can see this maybe being worthwhile if you can find yourself two huge pots and making one that's bigger and has more capacity. I still have the pot, but won't be using it again. Will try to find another use for it, one day. Just my 2 cents.
