Yes, I'm learning about deadheading. I'm kind of a beginner at gardening.

I was fortunate. My mother could grow anything, anywhere, so I grew up surrounded by gardens. Our back yard in Iowa before we moved to Las Vegas. Always in flux.

They are! We have another area to plant in so maybe I will see if I can find these at my Home Depot.

I would suggest Coral Bells (Heuchera). There are many varieties. The leaves themselves add so much color, but they also produce spikes with smallish flowers. All grow in shade.
