I just planted a Reliance and Himrod grape vine. They are supposed to be cold hardy. I live in Michigan and it got down to 23 F for two nights shortly after I planted them. I covered them but the emerging leaves all withered and died. They don't look good. Do you think they will come out of it? Any body had experience with this?

How long ago did that happen? Just recently? Several days ago or several weeks ago? If it was recent and was only that cold for 2 nights it's likely the roots didn't get frozen. It's understandable the emerging leaves withered due to direct exposure to those temperatures above ground. But I'd wait 3 or 4 weeks to see if tiny new leaf nodes/buds start to show up again on the bark of the stems and branches, give them a chance.

If you don't see new leaf buds emerging in a month after they got frozen then do what leastprime suggested, replant two more new vines. But you should leave the frozen ones remaining in place until at least the end of June just to see if the roots make a summer recovery with some foliage showing up. It's the condition of the roots that is most important at this point, not the leaves. Don't over water them while you're waiting for new foliage to put in an appearance. If they re-foliate they will be better established before they go dormant in autumn and will be more resistant to next year's winter temperatures.
