Just found out that yews are apparently very toxic to dogs and I have eight of them in my back yard, and a teething puppy. So...getting those replaced ASAP!

Kathryn, all parts of yew are toxic to humans too, even to simply touch the leaves or berries may cause a skin reaction in some individuals. Just so you know in the event you were thinking of handling any parts of them during the replacement. Get them replaced very soon and if you must touch them be sure to cover up and wear gloves.

The new house and grounds looks very nice. Looking forward to seeing pictures of new plantings in spring and summer.

That's a nice little house, Kathryn. (I don't mean "little", literally, LOL). Very attractive. Good job on the landscaping, love the back patio, that is a huge improvement.

That's a shame. I love yews and have several. I have no pets, but the yews are at the edge of my yard and certainly accessible to dogs and cats. As far as I know, none have ever keeled over.

Thank you - hey it's smaller than any house I've lived in, in the past 20 years or so so I call it a nice little house too - LOL.
