I posted this somewhere already, but a few weeks ago I saw a huge snail on my patio. He wasn’t bothering anything, so I just stepped over him. When I came back to the house, I accidentally stepped on him. It made a horrible crunch, like stepping on eggs. I felt so bad. That was a terrible death, for sure.
