There is a guy around here that does stump carving..actually you have to leave quite a bit of the trunk un cut.. he does beautiful eagles, bears, deer and other animals.. pretty neat

I dug around ours so when they cut it down it was actually below ground level. I filled it over with dirt, reseeded, and no stump in sight!

As it rots I have to fill with dirt, but the grass just moves up with it.

Default Bleach

I've heard that if you drill holes in the stump and pour bleach in...it will eat away at the stump. Never tried it myself.
I actually like the idea of drilling a bowl and planting flowers in the stump
