I have a Boston Fern and I am wondering when it is safe to put back outside? What does the temp. have to be at in order for it to be safe outside?

i live in n. florida and I have them planted in the ground and in a large planter by the door. my planted ferns died back b/c we had 3 days of freezes but they are coming back now. My potted plant only have a few fronds crisp. I would say once freezing temps are done but don't know if it would go into shock going from warm house to outside so do it gradually (house-garage-garden).
