When I try to create a shipping label with a delivery service (such as UPS, Fedex), i am often asked how much my stuffs weigh.
I haven't considered to buy a scale yet because I am often moving.
Where do you borrow a scale, when you don't own a scale (e.g. when you are travelling without bringing your scale)?
If without using a scale, how do you estimate their weights?
Many US Post Offices now have a Self Service Center kiosk where you can place a package on it the built in scale and get it's weight. Just go to the USPS website and do a search for the closest self-service kiosk to whatever zip code you're in.
You can get a handheld luggage scale for less than $20
You could also risk listing an estimate and the shipping companies will bill you accordingly anyway... they still have to weigh it and don't just take your word for it
