Which Omaha, NE has a few more sunny days than most in Iowa (as the further west in Iowa you go the less rain and cloudy days). Has an average of 28 inches of snow a year.
But again, Denver. It really is the only "sunny and snowy" large city in the country. Salt Lake City sees about the same snowfall, but is less sunny in winter.
Anchorage. Most of the gloom there comes in mid summer through fall, not winter.. Fairbanks too, which is even sunnier than Anchorage year round.
