Many from Texas go to Louisiana to gamble. Shreveport & Bossier City both have many casinos in their downtowns. Lake Charles has a well-established casino district as well. Baton Rouge & New Orleans also have casinos. Kinder, Marksville, & Charenton all have a Native American casino.

Lake Tahoe- although the casinos are the worst part of Tahoe. Gambling blows.

I like vegas for about 8 hours, then I get depressed looking at all the sleaze balls. I'm always amazed at how poor a lot of the gamblers are at $100 and up tables.

Reno, Detroit, St. Louis, and New Orleans are all the famous casino cities to my knowledge. There is another great casino that I visited somewhere along U.S. Highway 61 in Mississippi.
