don't worry been there already and don't get all worked up because i think the states in the middle of the u.s. are just space fillers for the states that matter.

What exactly is the criteria for determining a state that "matters" from states that don't matter? And you apply that same criteria to people, as well???? I suspect that in the long run that won't work out well for you.

There are some really ridiculous statements here. Cities like NY, LA and Chicago are great, but if you can't enjoy anything else, you're really lacking in something. I prefer driving trips to flying just because I don't want to miss the stuff that some people look down on as flyover material.

I've driven cross country many times seen beautiful country however it is still flyover country

its what happens when you get in a car and just drive and when you've lived in savannah, atlanta, birmingham, chattanooga, st. louis, philly, new york providence, portland, san diego, jacksonville, houston,denver... Driving from these places gives you really good viewsof the country
