Only a loser with no life would call any state a "flyover state", at least in the context that it is often used...

Every state has some good qualities worth seeing and experiencing

I wouldn't consider any state to be a "flyover state". If I had the time and the money, I would visit all states by car or train.

You know the old joke about dying in the south, right?
You still have a layover in Atlanta, even if you're going to heaven.

Big Mormon temples that 98% of the US population can't get in to see, not even Ann Romney's parents.

Yeah, the Utah National Parks are truly some of the most amazing scenery in the US, along with some of the best skiing in North America and the best quality of snow. But this whole thread is basically a chance for a few posters to prove their own provincialism and ignorance.

Guilty as charged. I like certain areas and not others, more so than it being a reflection of provincialism.

Jersey is a flyover state for me, because I fly through that dump in my car to get to NYC or back to Philly.
