In the UK ,the more remote/ rural/country roads can be very narrow with hedgegrow on either side and where only 1 car can pass-so oncoming traffic needs to reverse or try to pull in
Now Usa is a lot bigger- but are there any such tight roads ?

Here in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia we have to make our country roads narrow! It's either that, or blow up the mountain

Many rural/forest roads in the US were built with industrial applications in mind. So, they will quite often be wide enough to allow a tractor or logging truck to pass through.

There are a few exceptions, but it's extremely rare to find an American road in any sort of active use that is too narrow, for instance, to accommodate a wide passenger truck.

I noticed that a lot of rural paved roads in the North Carolina mountains were pretty narrow, yet still painted for two-way traffic.

I thought American roads were designed to handle vehicles up to 8 feet, 6 inches wide? Anything wider requires a "wide load" permit.

Some of the twisty, windy roads in Seattle are really narrow. So narrow even in my tiny Z4 I feel big.

This refers to the small town of Berlin, near Ocean City Maryland.

There are very narrow roads all over rural West Virginia -- so narrow that when encountering oncoming traffic, one has to pull over to the shoulder to let them pass.

The crookedest street in the USA is either Lombard Street in San Francisco, or a certain other street in Burlington Iowa.
