What are the best cities for single young professionals... I really enjoy NYC but I think it may be pretty competitive, I also like Miami a lot but I hear the pay isn't as good as other areas.
Im 31, business degree, and would like to relocate from Michigan.

Consider Phoenix/Scottsdale or Dallas/Fort Worth. GREAT places for singles.

I'd also look into Atlanta, Tampa, and Nashville; but that is an outside opinion as I've never visited.

inb4 the usual terrible recommendations for single guys like San Francisco.

There was a thread recently about best cities for singles.
one of them was Indianapolis.
Another was Austin Texas and so on.
Large cities might have more singles but that also leads to greater competition. I would personally avoid the Chicago/New York/LA sized cities.
