Hi! My roommate and I 23 and looking for a cool place to live. We live in Ohio right now, and are looking for somewhere that is fun for young, single people. We are looking everywhere, but know we want somewhere without the winters we get in Ohio! We are both teachers and can work anywhere. We have discussed Charleston, but have heard mixed reviews...Any suggesstions would be great!
Thanks!

Lets see, Seattle, San Francisco ( if you can afford it) Nashville, dont laugh way cool city, San Antonio, San Diego ( definately fun) I personally Love Charleston, lots of history and great architecture and close to beach hear the night life is good as well. It was fun to be in my 20's and exploring, now I am in late 30's and cant as much!!!

Possible places to consider:

Tallahassee Fl, got everything you are looking for

Orlando Fl: another good choice

San Antonio TX: great place, mild winters, lots to do.

Mobile AL: great possibilities, teachers are always welcome.

Pensacola Fl: great weather, looking for teachers, close to the Gulf of Mexico, lot of fun during Spring break.

Panama City: affordable, great weather, superb time during Spring break

Id consider Georgia or Texas. Housing is fairly affordable there and teachers get paid more than here in Florida. Ohio has affordable housing but you dont like the winters!

Also check out Albuquerque, NM. Growing by leaps and bounds, building several new schools which will need more new teachers. Great mild weather year-round, while still getting 4 distinct seasons. If you love outdoor activities, ABQ is hard to beat!
