I noticed a lot of children join the family business. I've noticed with most American presidents, this isn't the case. Only two American presidents have had sons that also become presidents. You think first children would want to be president. They have the resources most people would dream of. Why do you think this is?

The Presidency is not a family business nor is it a monarchy with heirs to the throne.

I didn't say they should be heirs. I just find it weird most first children are smart and rich and have connections, and only two have become presidents. Look at the Kennedys. The whole family wanted to be president.

With the Kennedys, it was because of their father. He wanted his oldest son to be President of the United States, and when the oldest son died, he set out to make his second son President, and he was successful. They were known to be a very competitive family, so the others followed suit.
