What a bunch of soft, money dependent tenderfoots.

What you need to survive is water, shelter, fire, and food. In that order. And food really only becomes important after a couple of weeks.

basic necessities met (water, sex, food)

then
people skills (to help you create networks), street smart (to help you find what you need)

then education (so that you can land a good job)

but basic needs you need to actually stay alive

money is useless in most cases

Money is useless? lol you actually have to buy this stuff you know... i bet you don't grow your own food and drink water straight out of a river and get a free education.
