What's the furthest you would drive for a weekend trip? (renting, home)

I saw there was an earlier thread on day trip, and generally the consensus ran from
an hour on the low end to 4 hrs. on the high end (I'd put myself at 3 hrs if I had a full full day and it was an epic single stop destination.
What about for a weekend trip? This is being defined as getting off work late afternoon, and just having Saturday and Sunday (maybe a Monday or Friday off too, at most).
My limit for a weekend drive would be about 6 hours. And again, only if there was a single stop type place that once you got there, you weren't doing a lot of driving. That way, even after work was finished, you could feasibly get to destination at reasonable hour, spend a whole day and the first half of the next day there, and then get home in time to unpack/relax/watch a movie or something before going into work the next morning. A perfect example(s) of a limit type trip for me in Tampa Bay would
be Key West, Savannah, or Providence Canyon (since each offers a significantly different vibe than what is present in the norm). Unfortunately, there is no true mountains within that range, as the closest is about 8.5 hrs. so it would involve flying to ATL and renting a car
which IMO is too much for one weekend.
For a weekend trip, I like to keep it to 3 hrs at most. I usually don't need more than that to get to some cool locations. In 3 hrs I can be in the mountains of NH or VT, Western MA, NYC, Long Island, the Cape and Islands , etc. The longest I can tolerate being in a car is 6 hrs. After that, I need a break.
If including Friday afternoon in the weekend, which I usually do, I can do around 5 - 6 hrs travel, maximum each way. If I have to work Friday afternoon and Monday morning, I'd go with 4 max.
