Since this is the General US thread, I wonder if any of you are familiar with the YouTuber Briggs? He does videos of explaining why you should or shouldn't move to a certain city or state. He's pretty well traveled since he's a veteran but very sarcastic as well. His videos are kinda like this fourm site.
I have. It's entertaining enough but sometimes his information is wrong or based too much on a perception stereotype.
As an example he stated he wasn't going to make his NY list all about NYC, and most of it was NYC anyway.
Especially on the accent part, people forget that a good chunk of NY state residents speak with a great lakes accent which is a far-cry from the NY accent.
Yes. Lazy crap. More of a comedic shtick designed to earn clickbait than anything useful. I would have severe doubts about anyone actually relying on this guy's channel for real information.
I think he is great. I am not sure if you guys are picking up on it or not, but he is manipulating trolls and negativity. He adds mispronounced words and small things like that to get people to comment. It is genius. I heard he was a Psych Warfare guy in the army.

Absolutely. The only ting I have for whatever reason is a habit of saying "cawfee" like a downstater. I do not know why, where it came from, but it stuck. The rest of my family says it normal.
