Cassadaga, FL. The town is almost entirely populated by mediums. Way off the beaten path, it resembles a small PA town plopped down in the middle of central FL.
Belleville, Wisconsin bills itself as the "UFO Capital of the World."
Willow Creek, California has a festival to honor Bigfoot and although it was started by Chinese laborers it's apparently less than 1% Asian.
Don't know if those two are actually quirky, but they struck my fancy while looking stuff up.
Northern Exposure was actually filmed in Roslyn, Washington I think. Again I don't know if it's quirky in real life, but on occasion I've thought it'd be interesting to see it.

Uh, no. Rosyln is not quirky in real life. It is a tiny town on the way up to the mountains just like any other tiny town in the NW. No quirk factor whatsoever. LOL I'll be the first to admit that I went there as a "tourist" though to get a beer at the "Brick".
Love that quirky charm - no cookie cutter allowed. Let it all hang out. Places like New Orleans and Savannah come to mind. Where to find the genuine, honest characters and real sense of place?
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in Pennsylvania.
