Wish I had seen the photos that were removed. Those are great of PA -- I have to admit, at first I thought the Scranton photos were actually Buffalo, New York! They look SOOOOOOOOO similar!! I kept thinking I had missed the headings, but went back and realized they were Scranton. Yep, the northeast sure has some beautiful homes!! Good work! Thanks for sharing.

Default Some from the Dallas area

These are some from the Dallas area, suburbs and all. And people say we have no trees and it is "flat". LOL!!!

This is the drive to take my child to school every morning.

The neighborhood golf course that we live by that I pass every day a million times.

Default Dallas

These are from a day this past fall from Downtown Dallas and Old City Park. It was a little drizzley that day.

Ah ha, found one I took that has the downtown Dallas skyline off in the distance. This picture was taken as I was about to come out of Rockwall and cross over Lake Ray Hubbard.

Here's what $1,000.00 a month rental gets you for a 1-bedroom apartment in Los Angeles, in the San Fernando Valley about 5 blocks from where I live. Dazzlingly enticing with their "Architectural Digest"-worthy appointments, n'est-ce pas? Gang accoutrements, no extra charge!

Well, "Mom", thank you for opening my eyes to the beauty of North Texas! I'm a Yankee that's always pictured the Dallas area as being nothing but endless cul-de-sacs, strip malls, Wal-Marts, tumbleweed, and a lack of historic character, but that downtown mall in Garland is really unique---It puts a "walkable" twist on my biggest foe, urban sprawl. You seem to take a lot of pride in your area, and I commend you for it! I also adore that one-story stone home with the turret that you pictured. I'm usually a Victorian fanatic, but Gothic is starting to turn me on as well!
