I'm not surprised a cities economy is not determined by how many people visit it or how tall it's skyscrapers are.
What surprised me is that Philly almost topped Toronto...

The Forbes list takes into account more than just GDP. I'd suggest reading the article if you are really curious.

LA is third in the country, not the world. And I am not talking about the raw numbers.
