Wow, I love so many of the old city halls. Great pics! I am kind of sad that the Chicago city hall is boring in comparison to a lot of them.

There's so many nice looking city halls out there, but if I had to pick three, they would probably be Buffalo, San Francisco, and Philadelphia

I mean I'm Texas oriented, but if you like more modern stuff then Dallas' and Austin's city hall are ok:

But then again if you like the White house looking clone stuff, sort of like the State Capitol of Texas... San Fran's and BV Hills does a good job... but if you want a traditional but still slightly modern, Houston's and Los Angeles' do well too.
that's houston's... but I mean I guess my favorite city hall would be the one that works most efficiently and effectively...
Those three are, in my opinion, the three ugliest of major cities in this country.

I'm sure it's been mentioned a lot, but Philadelphia, in my book.

Edit: I've probably mentioned it. It's a long thread.

Here's the largest one in the United States: (Buffalo City Hall, Buffalo, NY)

Funny, I saw your thread title and thought "Buffalo". I have to admit it is impressive.

19 pages, and no love for Kansas City?

Or St. Paul?

I could see how they could both be acquired tastes, but if you like Art Deco at all, you gotta like these two...

It's not bad if you can get past the stench of urine and all of the homeless people.

IMHO San Francisco, Philadelphia and Los Angeles have the best. Buffalo is for sure impressive. But it looks so.....um....Totalitarian or Dystopian ala Metropolis. It also kinda looks like the building at Moscow State University.
