I like Miami's skyline a lot but part of that has to do with it's water setting. But none of the buildings are that distinctive or impressive, they're nice but nothing notable. I don't get what the hype is about Houston's skyline either, it seems similar to Miami in that there are tall buildings surrounded by low density sprawl, none of the buildings or structures are that distinctive either.
The thing is that Houston doesnt just have ONE skyline....we have plenty...thats why Houston is hyped. Our Uptown can replace downtowns of many many major US cities.
That does seem sort of troll-ish of you...just saying...
But They're pretty dense, not like all jumbled up but thats ok...all in all, what defines rankings in skyline?
Appearance, no?
So if it looks nice, who really cares if its dense or not....right?
Philadelphia is a great city, but its skyline is pathetic.
I agree.
I feel bad that the World Trade Center of NYC are gone
that made NYC's Skyline spectacular.. now when i look every once i a while, i see that gap, always gives me chills whenever im there or see the skyline from home because it was there all my life.
NYC s still #1
#2 would be LA
and #3 would be Houston

Why do you think LA has a better skyline than something like this:
Philadelphia is a great city, but its skyline is pathetic.
I strongly disagree.
Philadelphia has an incredibly classy and elegant skyline. Definitely one of my favorites. Maybe not one of the very biggest, but still very impressive.
