We all here stereotypes about states. We know a little bit of that steryotype is true but its the furthest description of the state as a whole.
i've heard
-California is full of plastics and dumb blondes.
-Ohio people are arrogant and rude.
-New Jersey is dirty and scary.
-Nebraska is full of nothing.
-Kansas (same as Nebraska)
Etc.
So lets kill the stereotypes and lets show our state its true self.
Mine is "Dirty Jersey"
So dirty

the first photos are beautiful, but that last one confirms my belief that new jersey is scary.
hah well, like i said, the steryotypes are a little true, but that dosnt judge the state as a whole.. i love Jersey City.. i had to put it up as part of it's beauty
I suppose we could add the stereotype that people in New Jersey can't spell "stereotypes". LOL. Sorry - had to. (nice pics by the way)
Other odd stereotypes heard around the U.S. ...
* Everyone in San Francisco has $500,000 per year computer-related jobs (plenty don't).
* People from West Virginia are hillbillies (yet the state has relatively high test scores compared to many other states).
* Everyone in South Florida has leathery skin (well, only half do).
* Everyone who lives in NYC is neurotic (No. Only those living in Manhattan).
* You have to be mentally "off" to live in Alaska: Ok, while there are some "interesting" people who live there, there's also plenty of normal folks who just like lots of snow.
* Everyone from Texas wears a cowboy hat and owns cattle. Not true. Some people just own Chihuahuas and don't wear hats.

You'd be hard pressed to find a cowboy, a cowboy hat, a horse, Tex-Mex, any Mexicans, or a chihuahua in my part of Texas. In fact, my neighborhood is Anywhere, USA.
i thought the last pic looked really beautiful.. not scary, how do buildings and a lightpost and a cloudy sky look scary.. it's people that make a place scary or not.

there are many parts of TX where you will find this stuff--Amarillo comes to mind.

I was joking when i made that post. but you have to admit that it looks like a cover for a disaster movie. and people don't scare me.
