Having step foot in both states, I can personally say I have had a positive experience with both of them.

I would agree, but I have always found Texas hospitality to be overwhelming...so they get my vote

Hawaiians are nice if you respect their culture and they're very laid back.
Texans are usually genarally hospitable to everyone.

My vote goes to Texans.

Hawaiians(Im polynesian and know my people very well) are nice when theyre trying to sell you something.

Lived in both places...on a general day-to-day basis, definitely Texans.

texans, anywhere in the south really i guess they are nicer there for some reason

Never been to Texas, but I've met a lot of Texans. I've been to Hawaii. I would say Texans are definitely friendlier. But not equally friendly from everywhere in Texas.
