No offense, but that's a strange list. I live in Queens and it's much quieter than where my fiance lives 30 miles outside the city. I hardly hear sirens.

Also, I went to college in Portland. There aren't all that many elders. It was mostly liberal college kids. Florida has way more old people. I go there often since I have family there.

Newark fast-moving? Compared to NYC? lol. It doesn't matter if it's close to NYC. There are plenty more fast-moving cities than Newark.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but Newark is one of the fastest moving cities besides NYC.. it is a big city right outside of NYC. It has the biggest airports in the area, a University, and with all the refineries and factories with all the jobs.. the city is a VERY fast moving city.
Most the people who work in Newark don't even live in or that close to Newark, so most the people who work in Newark are in and out... And they have no time for slowpokes.

I didn't pick New York City as the loudest. I picked New Orleans. And Florida is stereotypically old. I didn't want to strengthen the stereotype. There are old people in Florida but there are old people everywhere. Maine has a lot of old people. Of course you would notice the college students more since you were surrounded by them at the college. I have family in Maine and there are a lot of old people. The reason taxes are so high in Maine is because of all the retired people that don't contribute to the economy. The only difference between Maine and Florida is that Florida has retirement communities. Outside of the retirement communities, Florida has just as many old people as any other state. And the reason I picked Newark as fast moving is because I already voted for New York City and didn't want to vote for the same city twice.
