Just a fun thread I figured Id start. Got any photographers out there? Post pics of your city or cities that youve vacationed in here. Here are a few of Chicago:
Cloud Gate:

Gawd, I could post thousands! I'm a "hobbyist" photographer (took some classes in college, own both digital & SLR cameras), and could share photos for days. Here are a few local ones... I'll post others later, since I don't have many uploaded on this computer.
Gizmo980, I'm in the Bay Area also - north bay, Sonoma County. Grew up in the East Bay, had a brother that lived in Pacific about 10 years ago. Those are beautiful pictures. Nothing like the sun setting on the Pacific. Thanks for sharing.

You're welcome, and glad you enjoyed them! It's a gorgeous city, isn't it? I lived there for a year, but moved because my commute was too long (plus it was kinda overpriced)... I'd love to move back, which I plan to do if I get a job nearby. Oh, and I love the Sonoma area! I've also thought of moving there, but once again have to find a job first.
P.S. I'm in the city of Carlsbad right now (outside of San Diego), and there's the most beautiful sunrise... as usual I'm watching the sun come up, since I can't sleep. Anyway, I stupidly left my camera at home, and wish now that I'd brought it!
Is it just me, or does Scranton seem a lot nicer looking than the Bay Area in SF?
Don't worry; we have our fair share of slums too. Just like anyone else with a large sense of civic pride for their city, I do my best to only show off the best architectural treasures we have to offer.
I have been to Scranton couple of times before but I didn't realise how beautiful the city is. I should make plans to visit the city soon.
Hopefully the city isn't located close enough to where the SSSD campus is located, ha ha.
