Add that to the Augusta skyline..... But to answer your question, Augusta has the second best skyline in Georgia.

I have to agree with ATL-Kid, coming down Cobb Parkway towards the Cumberland Mall you can see Sandy Spring and Atlanta skyline at the same time.

No we were talking about the same thing.

The original scope of work sent out to bid calls for accent lighting, it just wasn't done because they didn't have the money to finish.

We already close to Atlanta.

Columbus has the largest corporate base outside Atlanta.
Savannah has is largest tourism site outside Atlanta.
Augusta has the largest metro outside Atlanta.
Macon has the better interstate connection outside Atlanta.

This question should really be,why isn't Atlanta close to its 2nd tier cities.

Well what I'm trying to say, they all have something common with Atlanta.

Columbus has a huge corporate base that bring in billions.
Savannah is a huge tourism site which bring in millions to the city..
Augusta has the huge metro that bring in millions.

Atlanta had more room to grow with and 3 of the 5 interstate that run through GA are in ATL. Augusta Columbus and Savannah are border cities.

Yeah if 95 ran through dwtwn Savannah
they boom better
If 20 ran through dwntwn Augusta
they'd also boom better
If 185 ran through dwntwn Columbus
same result
Both Macon and Atl have 75 so they'd do great regardless

Let's not forget the 1996 Olympic games in Atlanta. Imagine how the ATL would be if the Olympic had not came to Atlanta but to New Orleans , Dallas, Orlando or Chicago instead.
