Ok so to further explain my question. I am with Verizon wireless and when you look at the detailed billing it shows all the locations as to where you were when you made or recieved calls. i do not pay my bill but my family memeber does, i recently started working and my babys father lives in a town an hour away from me and i would like to take the baby to see his father but my family says that if i go to see him then they will cut my cell phone off. How will they knwo you ask? Well every month they receive a detailed bill from my phone. They always have but my mother has told me that they can see where i am at because when i call or receive a call it shows which city i am in. I was wondering how i could turn this off or if it was just simply to turn of the gsp location on my phone. Please can someone help me because i do not think its fair that my family interferes with the visitation of my baby and his father. And i know that this information is true because i have see the location on the bill myself. If you have any further questions please ask because i need an accurate answer as soon as possible. And i am not underage, Im 20 years old.

How about getting your own phone in your own name and paying the bill yourself?

because if i do that my family will feel like im not taking their help and they will feel insulted. They were letting me use one of the family cars to drive but when i got my own that was like world war 3. I just need an answer to my question.
