Here is a picture of the urban area boundaries of Chattanooga, Columbus and Augusta. The entirety of the "don't acknowledge Chattanooga" argument is that its city hall building does not have a Georgia address. The end.

Apparently some people on here can't take a joke ...

If you're going to throw out random numbers, then you need to show us where you got it from. Otherwise, it's all opinion.

I can look at a picture all day long and say, oh, Columbus is 95% inside ALABAMA, but it would be my OPINION and dead wrong at that. See my point?

THAT is what Drew was looking for, but apparently you didn't understand. I was trying to clarify.

Why did you compare CSAs and MSAs instead of all MSA's?

To make Savannah look better, of course!

But seriously, Savannah is the only one of the five in which the entire MSA / CSA is contained in Georgia and doesn't overlap into another state, so I think it's an interesting comparison.

Part of MSAs living in Georgia

Augusta- 381,907
Savannah- 366,047
Columbus-256,969
Chattanooga- 150,016

CSAs and MSAs should not be compared.
