Seems like an older area with new (more expensive) homes near Five Forks area. How is the crime rate, traffic? I believe one of the top Gwinnett school districts are located there also if I'm not mistaken (Parkview)?

Lilburn is a nice place to move to. Crime in most parts of town is low and Parkview is a fantastic school!! They are more well known for their nationally ranked football team but their academics are excellent as well. When making a move in the metro Atlanta area one has to be mindful of the commute time to work. If you are working nearby(Gwinnett or Dekalb County) I would say that Lilburn would be a charming place to raise a family. However, if you are working in Cobb, the commute time could easily be an hour and a half and the same with downtown Atlanta. Gwinnett has terrible traffic at all times in most places because it CAN'T and WON'T stop growing so fast. Just remember not to move too far away from work. The way the road systems are set up down here, your commute time will worsen over the years, it definately is not going to get better.
