Tyrone/Peachtree city subdivision (Atlanta: houses, school district, zoning)

Hello Everyone, there is a subdivision in north Peachtree City/Tyrone called Maple shade that’s split between the two cities. The school district for that subdivision is the Mcintosh high school belonging to Peachtree City. Any chance that the subdivision especially the houses on the Tyrone side of it would be rezoned to a different school district in the future like Sandy Creek high school etc? Also is there a chance that either Peachtree City could annex the whole subdivision into itself in the future?

FWIW, my understanding is that Sandy Creek is under capacity. But at the same time, these are slow growth communities with a declining school age populations. So it's hard to say how likely rezoning is.

I do know Fayette County recently passed its most generous school year budget ever, so it's not like the district's hurting for cash at the moments and *needs* to cut operating costs (right size).
