Hello,

I'm just curious of everyone's opinions about the top school systems in SouthGA. I know that SGA is littered with poor schools, but surely there are some solid ones. Here are the ones that seem to be decent based on reputation, but I'd love to hear your opinions.

Lee County
TCC
Camden
Effingham
Colquitt
Lowndes
Jeff Davis

Am i missing some or perhaps added one that you don't consider decent? Also, what are the top public schools in Macon, Valdosta, and Columbus?

Thanks!

Yes, those on your list are all pretty good schools for South Georgia.

Unfortunately, schools around Macon aren't very good when being compared to other parts of Georgia. However, Valdosta and Columbus have good schools. What are the age of the children? With their age, more help could be given including which specific schools.

I would tend to agree with regard to Bibb County schools; however, Monroe and Houston County schools (also Macon metro) fare pretty well in this category.
