Interesting. The loggia fronting Newscastle echoes details found on the old Oglethorpe Hotel, which was located on the same site.
It's a good location for it, too, abutting Mary Ross Park. Brunswick's downtown just gets better and better.

I live downtown and think it looks appropriate as well. Some are hoping a hotel can be built next to it. The cost for this conference center proposal will be $8m and the city only has $3m in current funds for it. There is concern by locals with how the extra $5m will be paid.
