Ball Ground right now is a small town, but there are plans to make down town Ball Ground a much livelier area. There are talks about street scapes, coffee houses, small town markets. Check out the Cherokee Ledgers and the Cherokee Tribunes websites and you can learn more about the plans for Ball Ground. I have lived here for a while and I really like it. The Etowah River flows along the outskirts of Ball Ground. Check it out. It's really is a nice place to live.

Default Deciding between canton waleska ballground area

Hi
Wanted to get a sense of the canton waleska and ballground area. Planning to buy some acerage there or the 85 corridor. Not sure which is better. Any guidance would be appreciated. In particular looking to see
1. Which area is better for commute to the airport and downtown atlanta
2. In terms of living comparison of conveniences
3. Crime rate/ safety

Thanks

Ballground is a pretty nice place. A few gas stations and a quarry is about all there is to it though lol. With canton and holly springs right up 575 though you're well within everything you need.

If you do move to Ball Ground, be sure to check out Two Brothers Barbecue. You are in for a treat! Unfortunately, they no longer have the saw dust on the floor, but the fries and chocolate pie are still out of this world delicious. (The BBQ isn't bad either.)

I was born and raised in South FL and never thought that I would leave here, much less to another state, but we are so looking forward to moving!
How was your move there?
Are you glad that you left S. FL.?
We are in SW.FL. and I'm transferring to North Georgia this summer.
Honestly, can't wait to leave this godforsaken place.
Not what it used to be, too many yankees.
H*ll, too many ppl in general.
I know that all you Georgia ppl hate us floridiots coming up, but sorry.
gotta have four seasons and friendlier ppl.

Well I gotta say Id rather live around country "yankees" as you call them. Then Floridians just running from Floriduh and moving to Georgia because it isn't Florida not because you love Georgia. We have four seasons and are winters are getting nice and cold again. As more and more Floridians come "up" from the cities people are starting to act a lot less friendly.

What is a country Yankee, countryfried?
Are you originally from Georgia, countryfried?
And yes floriduh ppl are less friendly, countryfried!
I'm originally from NC and I would move there but the company I work for isn't in NC right now, but they will be one day and I will leave your state then, so there for I'm only there temporarily, you don't mind do you, countryfried?
