looking at ft gaines, georgetown to live
hello, we are looking to relocate to this area, and would appreciate any info anyone can share. we are a white couple in our early 50's. from rural part of florida, and were wondering if there are any crime, racial, local concerns.,etc. issues that might be something for us to consider. we love the eufaula ,georgetown area and the people there have been warm and welcoming, and now we have an opportunity to purchase a home in ft gaines area. we dont want to invade where we are not wanted....... i have also been told that there was no real estate taxes to pay if you are over a certain age. is that true? we look so forward to be in that part of the ga. al .area. thanks for your help ........ anxious
