Went fishing on the Grand River right off Indian Mounds Drive and was told this area used to be really seedy and it used to attract really big parties and drug addicts and a lot of crime. Has anyone been there back when the cops didn't stop people from going back there in the night time?

I have not been down that way for quite some time... It was quite the sketchy area, but after dark they had a gate that the Grandville Police use to close after a certain time to prohibit cars from entering the road. This did however, not stop people from hiking back there on there own two feet.
