Religion aside; Logically, what happens after death?
This is what I am coming up with and would love to here others opinions.
After death the brain will cease to function within seconds. No electrical impulses
will transmit. Thus, we will not be able to think and our consciousness will
no longer exist. It will literally be like we do no exist and never had existed.
We won't feel, think, or even know we are dead because that's impossible.
This may seem bad, but in reality, you will and never could possibly know.
Basically, it is the same as before when you were born. Do you remember a thing? Exactly.
I just want to know if there is another logical theory that could be possible besides this one?
To begin with, when your heart stops beating, your body's cells and tissues stop receiving oxygen. Brain cells are the first to die -- usually within three to seven minutes [source: Macnair]. (Bone and skin cells, though, will survive for several days.) Blood begins draining from the capillaries, pooling in lower-lying portions of the body, creating a pale appearance in some places and a darker appearance in others.
The boogiesouls will try to take you with them if one was a "bad boy/girl" on earth, however if one was a "good boy/girl" on earth GOD will take your soul to be with him.

If people did have past life memories, how would they be able to prove that they were "real"? Some people do have past life memories, especially small children.
Near Death Experiences prove consciousness continues after physical death. Neuroscientists are now studying this, and one neuroscientist had an NDE, and is convinced consciousness is separate from the body. Surgeons who put patients into a near death state with eyes and ears masked and soundproofed say the patient later could report everything that went on and was said during the surgery. There's much we don't know about this, yet, so it's premature to say we won't know we're dead or have any awareness at all.
Last year my dad was technically dead for nearly a minute and a half during his open heart surgery. They managed to bring him back, and I was curious as to what he felt when he was technically dead.
He said it was absolutely nothing, no sensation whatsoever.
He has completely lost his fear of death though, now knowing that you feel nothing at all.
Some people actually don't realize or believe that they are dead, others go through the light and others know they are dead but get lost for one reason or another and are earth bound until they find the light and go through it.
