Do you realize that, not long ago, population control was a totally mainstream issue? From the late '60s into the '80s it was probably the number one most talked about world problem. Then gradually it fell out of favor as it became clear that birth rates in developed countries were declining fast and population control was mostly a matter of white people telling poor black and brown people to control themselves.

Wrong. Birth rates among minorities were higher before the "subsidies" were being doled out. Birth rates among minorities have been dropping. However, few people have understood that.
