Israel is passing a law that legalizes the confiscation of Palestinian private land and transfers ownership to Israeli squatters, er settlers. How does that differ from the confiscation of Jewish property by the Nazis?
Perhaps you haven't noticed that most topics in this forum are very political. But that being said, I did actually intend to post it in Politics/Controversies but sometimes it is hard to tell this forum from that one.
Fifty years of endless talk, after two wars where the Arabs lost the wars. The deeds are worthless as all the lands were annexed by Jordan and then given to Israel as part of the Peace Treaty. Land ownership does not carry over once ones property sits in another country. It's all Israeli land, unless Israel re-issued deeds to them. If no re-issue of deeds were done, then the Arabs can be shown the door or Israel can do eminent domain and throw a few shekels at them as the move on. It's amazing that when it was done to Jews in 1/3rd of Poland no one cared and when the Jews were evicted from the same lands at gunpoint after the Armistice of 1949 in the mandate no one cared. So if it's ok to do it Jews by Arabs, then it's ok to do it to Arabs by Jews. Enough with the decades of double standards.

Let's start off with the last statement. The Nazis didn't confiscate the property of Jews. They evicted the Jews from their property with one suitcase in hand, placed them onto cattle cars and shipped then off to work and death camps. The Nazi's took their material possessions from the homes of the Jews and after they left their non-Jewish neighbors took their homes and property. Those same neighbors went to the Jewish cemeteries and removed all the headstones to create farming land or to use as a foundation to build roads onto. So where is your direct correlation that Jews have done this to Arabs?
Next let's move to Gaza where the Jews were evicted from their legally deeded owned land three times. The first time was when Jews were allowed to purchase and own land per a law passed by the Ottoman's. The Jews came from Europe in the 1870's and purchased swamp land. As they brought agricultural skills with them, they converted those swamps into land that could be farmed. Thus the first time was when the Mandate came into place, followed by the second time the Armistice came into place, followed by the third time in 2005 under the land for peace initiative. Yet not on peep from the world body that Gaza has no Jews, yet Jews have deeds to lands in Gaza.
Next we'll move to Israel proper. Whatever Arabs had deeds to their properties in Israel proper still have those deeds and still live on their lands. All one has to do is drive up north and they will take a step into the past when they enter Druze towns. They are the same towns as they were 100's of years before. One can travel all over Israel proper and there are Arab towns and villages still in existence. Their mere existence does not follow your Nazi line of thought.
The Golan Heights is more for the history forum so I'll just skim over it. It was originally part of the Palestine Mandate, it was shaved off and given to the French Mandate which was then given to the Syrians. Thus the Golan Heights was not part of the PM and was taken from Syria as a spoil of war.
Next up is Judea and Samaria (Named West Back by the Jordanians as it was the WB of the Jordan river). Let's start off with Ramallah. Ramallah at one time was completely Christian. They were evicted from their homes and lands by Muslims to where Ramallah now is nearly all Muslims. Yet no one cared for them either.

Israel is a terrorist nation which has used up all its Holocaust sympathy, committing one of their own. Down with Israel.
