I think we have a society that has become lazy when information whether true or false is given to us through the many public medias. They have become to unfocused or uneducated to stay with it digging all information good or bad to make a educated decision. I don't mean just politics but everything happening to them every day of their lives. Don't tell me life is so time constrained with their happenings they can't. I have proven my initial feelings or strong thoughts wrong on subjects through my entire life, I never have accepted a answer as 100% true "just because". It is a shallow and probably expensive life that does this.

There are so many people who simply don't care to look into a story or claim beyond the headlines.
People especially the young want their info/news delivered fast and flashy and unless it clashes with their core beliefs they take any report at face value as confirmation on their world view.

There are many things beyond politics that fall into this lazy information delivery that people fall for and believe in.
This past Presidential election is evidence that soundbites and quick talking points can sway a persons thoughts.

Celebrities and their endorsements or lack of has been known to help sell products for decades.

It is mind boggling how so many take the talking head sound bites literally and they either have no interest in looking up the facts or worse they don't even care.

It's like fast food. You don't have to cook and it tastes good despite the ingredients.
