Just wondering. It's being manufactured here in Canada, yet it is not approved in Canada. It is though approved in a bunch of states in USA. It takes 4 hours to re-charge it for the next day driving. On or off grid charging, whatever your philosophy. I personally'd prefer to re-charge it on my own little windlmill.

Not a racing car by any means, about 25 mph. But if all you need is to get around, what the heck.

It already exists, Zenn car, you don't have to wait.

I am amazed by the lack of interest here. There you have them - no power bills with your own little windmill, no gasoline spending with the 4-seater electric car. AND not many responses!!!

Hello, people, no bills to pay! Or are you concerned about the taxes that won't be collected? (off power companies, off gasoline).

At 35mph and 35 miles range the ZENN may meet some people's needs but it's very limited for general use. I'm all for EVs but this is strictly an urban grocery getter. Strange, they don't mention price anywhere.

Smile The cityZenn in 2010.

I know there is a cityZenn, second generation Zenn car coming in 2010. This car is dependent on the new super-capacitor battery by Eestor. It is going to have a 250 mile range and drive at max speeds of 80mph. Now that will be an electric vehicle! If you are interested in Zenn cars, checkout The Zenn Car Blog

$20K for a city-street-only car?

dunno. jmho, but probably not a popular price to performance ratio.

But the add of A/C is a nice touch.
